Personification

Imagine a world in which we hand crafted each human being. And don't worry, I'm not about to jump into a political argument about altering genetics.

I'm saying literally having an assembly line; a book of selections for you to pick and choose every detail of your child/friend/family member etc.  

Even in a world so shallow and impure, you would not be able to recreate what I am privileged to call my best friend.

 Meet Kelly. She is Honesty. She is Harshness. She is Strength. She is Compassion. 

She is Unconditional Love.

 

She is bigger than her body gives her credit for

The history we share is unique, interesting, ridiculous, hilarious, sad..(I could go on.) You could write a book with it's targeted audience: 16 year old girls and it would be a hit.

She's given me strength when I've been weak. She's lied to me when I needed protection. She's been honest when I needed the truth. She's kicked me in the ass when I needed to man up!

She supported me when I wanted to move 2700 miles away to start over.

She is Unconditional Love.

Passion

One of my favorite things to do is take pictures for bands. Music has always been an incredible passion of mine, hence the title. 

Just a couple of my favorite pictures of the band Arms Like Yours.

 Starting out with simply a business relationship, this hard hitting quartet has become some of my best friends. The first time we met it was like talking with old friends; jokes flying, laughs echoing... An instant connection that very few people have the luxury of experiencing. Alex, Corey, Anthony, and Rory (in no respective order) are some of the most passionate, good-hearted and down to earth people I know.

It was a privilege to call them acquaintances, an honor to call them friends, and a gift to call them my brothers.

Inspired

I start this endeavor, appropriately, with my biggest inspirations as of late. My two cousins.

 These two girls are the epitome of opposites attracting. The younger of the two a complete brute, boasting a personality sure to burst out of her small stature, while the elder is the sweetest, most considerate and caring individual that I have the pleasure of knowing.

Their creativity and liveliness not only makes for magnificent photographs but it inspires me to be creative. No person, large or small, has had that effect on me until these little ladies entered my life.
